Edward S. (“Ted”) Shapack is the firm’s founding partner and has practiced in Charlotte since 1987. He is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Family Law Specialist and is an active member of the Domestic Court Bar Committee established by the Chief District Court Judge. Ted is also certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission as a Family Financial Mediator. Claire K. Shapack joined the firm in 1996. Claire practices in the areas of personal injury, commercial and residential landlord-tenant, premises liability, contract disputes, unfair trade practices and other civil litigation. She is certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission as a Superior Court Mediator and by the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts as a District Court Arbitrator. Our attorneys take an active role in local and state professional organizations. They have served on numerous committees of the Mecklenburg County Bar including the Executive Committee, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, the Grievance Committee, and the Fee Dispute Resolution Committee.
